Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Atatürk Culture and Information Education Center (ATABEM) summer courses started. 19 thousand 411 students attend 6 courses given in 521 course centers. Students who receive free education in academic branches both have fun and learn.

Free summer courses for students started at ATABEM, which is affiliated to the Metropolitan Municipality Social Services Department, Non-formal Education Branch Directorate. Children have the opportunity to improve themselves in different courses from computer coding and English to piano and modern dance.

INTENSIVE ATTENTION TO COURSES

3-4-5-6-7 and 8th grade students enjoy both having fun and learning at ATABEM with summer courses after a busy and tiring school term. In the courses opened in academic, cultural and social fields, students learn new information about their interests and missing subjects. Children receive training in various branches such as computer coding, Turkish, speed reading, mathematics, science and English, baglama, guitar, modern dance, Turkish folk dances, piano, painting, chess, creative drama, violin and intelligence games (mangala).

TECHNOLOGY, MUSIC AND ART FANS AT ATABEM

Özgür Toprak, one of the students of the computer coding course, stated that he very much wanted to come to the course and said, “I was very interested in technology and using computers. Here we get robotic coding training, we play games. We learn how the games we play are made in a fun way. This summer will be very good for me at ATABEM," he said.

Reyna Tanış, 14, who attended a modern dance course at ATABEM last year, stated that she continued her education with a guitar course this year and said, “We are learning to play the guitar with my classmates, accompanied by our teacher. I have been interested in the piano since my childhood. Notes have always intrigued me. I want to further my piano education during my summer vacation. I am learning and having fun at the same time. I am very happy at ATABEM,” she said.
