Children receiving education at the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Center for Children Working on the Streets came together at the Spring Festival. 170 children, who received folk dance, dance and theater training from expert trainers, displayed their skills at the festival.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to bring the children of the Capital City together with many activities.

A Spring Festival was held at the Center for Children Working on the Streets, which serves especially the children of disadvantaged families within the Social Services Department. Children who received training in various branches for 1 year at the festival; He exhibited all his skills from local folk dances to modern dances, from poetry reading to theater.

CHILDREN OF THE CAPITAL GATHERED AT THE SPRING FESTIVAL

While there were colorful and entertaining moments in the festival held in the center where 2022 members were educated in the 2023-847 academic year, 170 children took the stage for the song, dance and theater performances they prepared. In the event held at the center in Sıhhiye, representatives of many non-governmental organizations and ANFA Security Systems General Manager Bektaş Aslan did not leave the children and their families alone.

The children who came from Ukraine and were guests in the capital received great appreciation with the dance performances of their own countries. Head of Social Services Department Adnan Tatlısu said, “Our total number of members for the year 2022-2023 is 847. Today, we prepared a Spring Festival program with our students studying in 2022-2023. Our 170 children added color to the program with Zeybek, Caucasian, Adıyaman, National Anthem and flag shows.”

Cotton candy and popcorn were also served to the children at the end of the program.
