'Renewable Energy' Investments Continue in Kayseri

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç said that the Metropolitan Municipality has implemented important power plants in the city for energy production from renewable energy sources such as wind, solar and biogas. The Metropolitan Municipality continues to produce electricity from renewable energy in order to entrust a cleaner, higher quality environment to future generations and to offer a more livable Kayseri. In this context, the Metropolitan Municipality Council takes important decisions regarding renewable energy production at its June council meeting.

Among the items on the agenda is Kayseri Transportation A.Ş. It was discussed by the council members that the amount of 0,5% (one thousand five) from the VAT excluded portion of the self-consumption surplus electricity production earnings to be paid to the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality as the usage price of the immovable.

RES PROJECT IS COMING FROM METROPOLITAN

President Büyükkılıç said, “This time we call it RES. We are producing projects so that we can enter Wind Energy. Renewable energy is known to pay for itself in 4 years, both in terms of the environment and in the context of emphasizing its importance in wind energy in our region. Work will be carried out in the context of both closing the energy gap and contributing to energy.” The request was unanimously accepted by the council members.

KASKİ'S GES PROJECT IS IN OPERATION

President Büyükkılıç also reminded that the Solar Power Plant worth 103,9 million TL, the production of which was started a while ago, by the General Directorate of Water and Sewerage Administration (KASKİ). Stating that the 6,5 megawatt Solar Power Plant by KASKİ is in operation, Büyükkılıç thanked those who contributed for their contributions.
