Izmir Metropolitan Municipality completed the second container city in Adıyaman, one of the cities hit by the earthquake. The 2-unit container city with 2 playgrounds, 180 sports fields, laundry, library and infirmary was made ready for life before the holiday and transferred to AFAD.
İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, which put the container city of 700 people, which it established in Adıyaman, into the service of earthquake victims in April, brought the second container city it established here to the Eid al-Adha. A total of 163 units, including 2 living containers, a combined library consisting of 2 containers, a combined Women's Solidarity Center consisting of 1 containers, a teacher's room, a combined Children's House consisting of 2 containers, 2 study classrooms, a combined social facility consisting of 2 containers, 1 infirmary, 6 laundry rooms. The container city containing the container was delivered to the authorities based on the protocol signed between Adıyaman Governorship Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate and İzmir Metropolitan Municipality.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, who gave the good news that earthquake victims will enter the holiday in their temporary homes. Tunç Soyer, said that when there is no longer a need in the region, all containers and materials will be brought to Izmir and kept in inventory to be used in case of a disaster.
