Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu visited the AK Party and MHP Provincial Directorates for the Governorship Provincial Coordination Meeting in Aydın, where he came to examine the Aydın-Denizli highway works on site.

2.4 BILLION LIRA SAVED ON TIME AND FUEL
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu said, “With the completion of Aydın-Denizli Highway, the travel time on the current route will decrease from 2 hours and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes. We will save a total of 2,4 billion liras annually from time and fuel. We will reduce the current 580 km road length between İzmir and Antalya to 440 km with the Aydın-Denizli Highway and the Denizli-Burdur and Burdur-Antalya Highways to be built later. Thus, by reducing the travel time from 6-7 hours to 3 hours, we will provide uninterrupted highway transportation from Izmir to Antalya. Minister Uraloğlu also said that as of today, 8 highway projects such as Selçuk-Partners-Aydın Road, Aydın-Muğla Junction-Koçarlı-Söke Road and Aydın-Denizli Highway are continuing.
Minister Uraloğlu stated that they made very important investments for the development of Aydın's road network, as well as for the development of other transportation types such as railway, airway and seaway, and said, “We have renewed the entire railway network of 205 kilometers.
We have completed the survey and project works of Selçuk-Ortaklar, Ortaklar-Aydin and Aydın-Denizli High Speed Railways. We have completed the project work between Selçuk-Partners and included them in the Ankara-İzmir High Speed Train project in the investment program of our Ministry. With the Didim Yacht Harbor, which we opened in 2009 with a capacity of 180 yachts, we have transformed Aydın into a very important center in terms of yacht tourism. Under the leadership of our President, we did what we promised in 21 years. We will build hopeful tomorrows with the confidence that comes from what we have done in the past.
