The construction of the “Campus High School” project, which is a first in education and which is among the election promises of Esenyurt Mayor Kemal Deniz Bozkurt, has started. With the project, which has a huge budget of 1 billion 52 million TL, the number of students per classroom will be reduced in the district, where the number of schools is insufficient, and the youth will be offered the opportunity to receive more qualified education.
The 'Campus High School' project was started on a 25-decare land that was allocated to a foundation in the previous period and was reclaimed as a result of the long efforts of Esenyurt Mayor Kemal Deniz Bozkurt. The project, which was prepared by Mayor Bozkurt to solve the school problem of the district, includes 5 high schools, as well as sports fields, social facilities, workshops, library, conference hall, 104-bed dormitory building and cafeteria. When the Campus High School project, which brings together 1 Anatolian High School, 1 Science High School, 1 Imam Hatip High School and 1 Vocational High School and Sports High School, on the same campus, thousands of students will have the opportunity to receive education. With the project in which students from different high schools will come together, young people will be able to share the same space and socialize with each other.
1 billion TL giant project
Pointing out that they will help the education problem in the district with the Campus High School Project, Mayor Bozkurt said, “We spend 30 percent of our budget for this project. We are doing this project, which cost 1 billion 52 million liras, by cutting back on our other activities. Because every year we are late, 5 thousand of our children die. That's why there is a hole in one of our roads, but the future of our children should not be tarnished," he said.
Contributing to the socialization of young people
President Bozkurt stated that he was happy for the children of Esenyurt for the start of the Campus High School project, which he attaches great importance to, and added:
“Esenyurt is a city founded by people from every point from Bulgaria to Iğdır. While we try to solve the education problem with this project, we will bring together the children of families from these regions not only in the classroom but also while socializing. So there will be more opportunities to understand each other. Because as these young people get to know each other, the law of citizenship here will get stronger. I think this will make an important contribution to the unity and peace of the country.”
