Hellbound season 2 is coming
Netflix renewed Hellbound for a 2022nd season in the fall of 2. They announced that the Netflix original will be renewed at Tudum 2022, the annual celebration of Netflix's original programming, and they shared a teaser for the new season.
Hellbound season 2 shooting hasn't started
We're about to spoil some of the good news we just talked about. Hellbound season 2 has not yet started production, although it was renewed in the fall of 2022, but there are reports that filming for the new season will begin in the summer of 2023, according to NME.
While that's great news, it means Hellbound season 2 will most likely not be on Netflix for a while.
Has Netflix announced the Hellbound season 2 release date yet?
Of course, Hellbound season 2 release date has not been announced. With production not starting as of May 2023, there will be quite a long wait for the new season to be released on Netflix.
If production starts this summer, we can definitely expect to see Hellbound season 2 on Netflix in 2024. Typically, new seasons of Netflix shows are released about a year after they start production. We've seen some exceptions, but that's more or less how it goes. Hellbound is an effects-heavy show, so it might take a little longer.

Hellbound season 3 coming?
As of May 2023, we haven't heard any rumors or seen any reports about Hellbound season 3 on Netflix. The drama is based on Yeon Sang-ho's webtoon of the same name, so it's possible that we may see more webtoons set in this world.
We may also see a third season of Hellbound, but Netflix usually doesn't look at multi-season renewals unless the series is a big hit.
