In the statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the following information was given: “In line with the strategic investment plans and sustainability agenda of Türk Telekom group, we will accelerate our solar power plant (SPP) installation works in the near future in order to reduce our carbon footprint, contribute to climate risk management and create financial value. We shared our goal. In this context, Turkish Electricity Transmission Inc. (TEİAŞ) has allocated an additional 5 MWe of installed power to our company in addition to the 1 MWe installed power capacity allocated within the framework of the relevant article 317,8/88h of the Regulation on Unlicensed Electricity Generation in the Electricity Market. stated that an opinion on technical details will be given later. With the additional capacity taken, the total installed power capacity of 405,8 MWe corresponds to approximately 65 percent of our current total electricity consumption. SPP investments are planned to be realized in Diyarbakır, Ağrı and Sivas locations on lands to be leased for 29 years from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change General Directorate of National Real Estate.”
