The world's only international night race MTB Night Cup, organized within the scope of Sakarya Bike Fest, where Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality hosted star athletes, witnessed great excitement.

Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality is hosting the most prestigious bicycle races in the world this year, as every year. MTB mountain bike, BMX supercross and Tour Of Sakarya international road bike races to be held as part of Sakarya Bike Fest will bring the excitement to the top.

The giant organization, which started with the 1st Stage races of the Tour Sakarya today, continued with the night race. The world's only international night race MTB Sakarya Night Cup started in Sunflower Cycling Valley.

With the organization of the International Cycling Union (UCI), a breathtaking struggle was put forward in Europe's most comprehensive facility. Star pedals crossed the challenging mountain bike tracks one by one in the dark to reach the podium at the end of the race.

In the race, in which 20 women and 36 men participated, a track of 4 meters was run. The competition, in which the men competed in 400 laps and the women competed in 7 laps, lasted approximately 6 hours. The racers who completed the tracks in the fastest time in 2 separate categories, women and men, took the podium.

In men, Austrian cyclist Gregor Raggi won the first medal with a time of 1.15.32, while Swiss Usrin Spescha came second and Ukraine's Dmytro Titarenko came third. In women, Kazakh athlete Alina Sarkulova finished first with a time of 1.18.38, Hungarian Virag Buzsaki came second and Kazakh Tatyana Geneleva finished the race third.
