The Theme of the 11th Izmir Philosophy Days Will Be 'Slow Life'

With the cooperation of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and Dokuz Eylul University Philosophy Department, the 4th Izmir Philosophy Days will be held on May 11 at the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center with the theme of "Slow Life".

Izmir Philosophy Days, which are organized around various themes in May every year, will be held with the theme of "Slow Life" at the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center in cooperation with the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and Dokuz Eylul University Department of Philosophy. The Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the event, which will be held on Thursday, May 4, at 13.00, Prof. Dr. Levent Aysever will undertake it.
Previously, the titles of "Enlightenment and Religion", "Law, Violence and Justice", "States of Art", "Utopia", "Science, Technology, Ecology", "City the Space of Differences", "Recognition and Recognition: I and the Other" were discussed. At the Philosophy Days, which is held, it is aimed that current issues gain visibility in the public sphere through dialogue and discussion.
