The Women's Life and Employment Center, which is among the vision projects of Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Murat Zorluoğlu, was put into service for women with a ceremony. The opening ceremony, hosted by President Zorluoğlu, was attended by Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, Trabzon Governor İsmail Ustaoğlu, former ministers Faruk Nafiz Özak, Cahit Turhan, AK Party Trabzon Deputy Salih Cora, AK Party Deputy Chairman of Local Administration Ayşe Sula Köseoğlu, AK Party Trabzon Deputy candidates. Yılmaz Büyükaydın, Meryem Sürmen, Zafer Ofluoğlu, District Mayors, bureaucrats and many guests attended.
WE FULFILL OUR PROMISE
Speaking at the opening, Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Murat Zorluoğlu said, “I am very pleased to be with you as this beautiful work, which is the vision of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, of our party and our municipality, is a concrete indicator of the value and importance we attach to women . This place has been a dream of mine since the moment my wife and I became the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality. There were facilities of this kind in Ankara and Istanbul, which my wife also benefited from. When we came to Trabzon, we came to Trabzon with the dream of bringing such a facility to the ladies and women of our Trabzon. Then we put it in the project catalogue, and we talked about our project to Trabzon in the 2019 elections, we made a promise. Of course, we are very proud and happy to have fulfilled this promise now. Good luck to our city again. In one of our President's visits to our city, we opened this project, our idea to him, and he said to us, 'Of course, do it. Is anyone holding your hand?' This is an expensive facility. We tried to see if we could do this with the contribution of a charitable business person. Here, we saw the really valuable support of our esteemed minister Faruk Nafiz Özak. We also thank him. Thanks to Mehmet Cengiz, the owner of Cengiz İnşaat, they completely sponsored this place. We provided the entire construction and most of its equipment through Cengiz İnşaat. Today this building came into being here. I would like to express my special thanks to Cengiz İnşaat in the person of Mehmet Cengiz”.
THEY EARN BY PRODUCING
Providing information about the Women's Life and Employment Center, Mayor Zorluoğlu said, “This place consists of 4 main sections. There is a social service area where ladies can relax, have fun and do sports. It is a truly magnificent area with its pool, fitness centers and cafeterias. On the other hand, we have a very nice women's counseling center with its sports, lawyer, dietitian and sociologist that can provide serious counseling to our women. Right next to it, we have created many workshops, a very beautiful structure that our women will produce and earn as they produce. Finally, we have many magnificent halls in our city that will meet such needs, especially our women's associations, both with educational activities and other activities.

President Zorluoğlu finally said, “With these feelings, of course, to our esteemed President, who is the most important beauty behind all the works we have realized in Trabzon, and to our esteemed ministers, one of our esteemed Minister of Transport and Infrastructure is also our parliamentary candidate. Our Metropolitan Municipality has not only implemented this beautiful facility that will serve not only Trabzon but also the region today, but also established the department of women and life center last month for the most effective use of this facility, paving the way for this service to be implemented effectively. KARAİSMAİLOĞLU: WE WILL CONTINUE TO SERVE FOR TRABZON
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu said, “Producing such facilities in our cities makes our cities even more livable. We get even more excited when it comes to women: I am here as the son of a teacher mother. That's why I'm here as someone who knows the difficulties women go through in business life. We will try to remove these obstacles. Under the leadership of Mr. President, AK Party governments have done a lot for women. Trabzon is developing and growing. We are developing our city by making both living and social spaces. Especially during our governments, great things have been done in Trabzon, but it is not enough. When we add our projects to Trabzon, we will have achieved much more. We will continue to serve both for Trabzon and Türkiye.
KARAİSMAİLOĞLU: ZIGANA TUNNEL WILL BE AVAILABLE TO THE WORLD
Karaismailoğlu continued his words as follows; “Unfortunately, we do not have many female friends because we are the technical unit. But we are working on that too. We are making great efforts to include our female colleagues in our staff. We also need female engineers. Hopefully, we will bring these vision projects to Trabzon one by one. We will lay the foundation of our long-awaited ring road project. This will be granted to the AK Party governments. We will host our President in Trabzon. We will present the Zigana Tunnel to the service of the world. We built Europe's longest tunnel with 14.5 kilometers between Trabzon and Gümüşhane. Trabzon will develop with these projects. It will make life easier for the people of Trabzon here. It will offer positive things for the development of Trabzon's social life. We will do everything possible to make Trabzon better. Trabzon will be the shining city of Türkiye and the world. With this unity, together with the support you will give us on May 14, we will further increase our efforts to change Trabzon. Trabzon needs to grow even more so that Turkey can enter the top 10 economies, one of the few countries in the world. Hopefully we will be able to do that too."
