Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Tünektepe Cable Car and Social Facilities, whose annual heavy maintenance and all tests have been completed, will start to serve as of Tuesday, April 4th.
The maintenance of Tünektepe Cable Car and Social Facilities, which offers visitors a unique Antalya view pleasure by climbing up to Tünektepe at an altitude of 605, has been completed. Within the scope of maintenance works, technical maintenance of the cable car cabins, mast and line maintenance, lower and upper station maintenance were carried out. After the extensive maintenance works carried out to provide more comfortable and safe service to the visitors, Tünektepe Cable Car and Social Facilities will serve the people of Antalya and local and foreign tourists visiting our city 6 days a week, except Monday, at 10.00-18.30 cable car toll booth and 10.00-18.00 return from Tüneketepe Social facility.
Comprehensive Maintenance
Within the scope of maintenance works, technical maintenance of the cable car cabins, mast and line maintenance, lower and upper station maintenance were carried out. Non-destructive testing of the ropes, cabin shifting (clamp pressure) tests, main and backup engine maintenance, power transmission system maintenance, renewal of all hydraulic systems, in-station acceleration and deceleration pulleys, 23 poles pulleys, shaft , tire changes, reinforcement settings, connection terminals of the cabins were maintained. Many items such as main drive system filters, oil changes, speedometer, wind gauge, brake system elements were changed. In addition, basic concrete strength tests were also carried out.
