Derya Yanık, Minister of Family and Social Services, stated that the payments for the Turkey Family Support Program in March 2023 have begun, and said, “Within the support we have put into practice for our households in need, a total of 3,4 billion TL, of which 1 billion TL is family support and 4,4 billion TL is child support. We will pay,” he said.
Providing information on the payments made within the scope of the Turkey Family Support Program, Minister Yanık said, "The amount of support we provided from July 2022, the beginning of the program, to March 2023, exceeded 26,1 billion TL."
Minister Yanik said, "A total of 2,5 million households benefit from the Turkey Family Support Program, including 3,4 million households within the scope of Child Support."
The number of children supported has reached 6 million
Stating that they make monthly payments of 850 TL - 1.250 TL according to the income of the households, Minister Yanık said, "We continue to be with our households in need with the support we have implemented for our households in need. In this context, we will pay a total of 3,4 billion TL, including 1 billion TL family support and 4,4 billion TL child support, in the Turkey Family Support Program, which we have implemented for our households in need. In this process, the number of children we support has reached 6 million.
Noting that they expanded the framework so that more citizens could benefit from the Turkey Family Support Program, they added the Child Support Component and Electricity Consumption Support, Minister Yanık said:
“We make monthly payments to our households benefiting from our support so that they can cover the expenses of their children. Within the scope of the Child Support Component, we provide additional support to our households in the amount of 350 TL-650 TL per month. In addition, we provide Electricity Consumption Support up to 260 TL to our households.”
