“Murder Mystery 2” was filmed in Hawaii, the Caribbean and France, particularly in O'ahu and Île-de-France. Principal photography for the lead actress of Jennifer Aniston reportedly began in January 2022 and was completed in April of the same year. O'ahu, Hawaii
The Maharaja invites Nick and Audrey Spitz to their grand wedding at an exotic and scenic location - O'ahu, an island in the Central Pacific and part of the Hawaiian archipelago. The production team camped at different spots on O'ahu, capturing the island's idyllic beauty and surrounding open waters. Hawaii's capital city of Honolulu, especially the Kaka'ako neighborhood, a popular district famous for its vibrant flavors, served as one of the key filming locations for the murder mystery movie.
Also, the beach scene where Audrey and Nick meet for the first time with the SAS mercenary named Miller and his crew was filmed at Lanikuhonua Lagoon at 92-1101 Aliinui Drive in the planned Kapolei community in Honolulu County. Another neighborhood of Honolulu featured in 'Murder Mystery 2' is Waikiki. That's why the production team traveled all the way to the City of Light to scrutinize several key sequences on site. For example, they shot some important exterior sections around the Arc de Triomphe at Pl. Charles de Gaulle in Paris is where the Spitzes are asked to come with the ransom money in exchange for their friend's freedom.
Paris, Nick and Audrey witness a man walking straight across the road to a burning vehicle at Les Cailloux at 58 Rue des cinq Diamants. The shooting unit for 'Murder Mystery 2' is also located at the popular Passerelle Léopold-Sédar-Senghor, a pedestrian bridge over the River Seine in the 7th arrondissement of Paris and Pl. de l'Opera. Also, Adam Sandler appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon in late March 2023 and even announced that they were shooting a scene at the Eiffel Tower at 2:00 in the morning. “We shot at 2:00 in the morning and Jennifer's stunt daughter Kelly went there and hung on a rope.”
