Metro Istanbul, one of the subsidiaries of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), and Pegasus Airlines, M4 Kadıköy- Signed the naming rights agreement for the last station of the Sabiha Gökçen Airport Metro Line.

Contract period 3 years

Ozgur Soy, General Manager of Metro Istanbul, said, “In the post-pandemic period, when there were great economic difficulties in the public transportation sector, all the leading metro companies in the world focused on increasing their non-travel revenues. The main ones of these incomes are real estate, commercial area and advertising/sponsorship incomes. In recent years, we have made significant strides to increase commercial area revenues. The naming rights agreement with Pegasus is a different and new step added to these breakthroughs. Within the framework of the contract we signed, the name of the last station of our M4 Line will be referred to as 'Pegasus-Sabiha Gökçen Airport Station' for 3 years.”

Pegasus Airlines CEO Güliz Öztürk said, “As Pegasus Airlines, we believe that air transportation should be easy, accessible and affordable. For this reason, we care about facilitating easy access to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, our home, where we fly most of our flights for nearly 18 years, and from Sabiha Gökçen to many points of the city. That's why it's so valuable to us that the metro station here is named after us.” he said.
