Antakya Civilizations Choir will give a concert on Tuesday, March 6, 7 at Çukurova University Congress Center, 28 members of which lost their lives in the 2023 February earthquakes and many of them were rescued from the rubble. The Commemorative Concert, in which the message "From Seyhan to Rebel" will be given, is organized with the cooperation of Adana Metropolitan Municipality, Çukurova University and many non-governmental organizations.
The Antakya Civilizations Choir, which was established in 2007 and includes amateur artists from many ethnic origins, religions and sects, aims to both return to life in person, show solidarity to heal the wounds in the cities destroyed in the earthquake, and support the families of the 7 choir artists who lost their lives in the earthquake and the choir members of the earthquake victims. His concert is expected to attract a lot of attention.
The survivors of the 200 members of the Antakya Civilizations Choir, the purpose of which was to introduce Hatay's cultural richness and culture of tolerance to the world, and to contribute to the peace of the country and the world, dispersed to various provinces after the earthquake and gathered for the first time in Adana with the aforementioned solidarity concert. future.
Having become a worldwide brand of Hatay, the choir, which had to suffer one of the most severe wounds of the earthquake, received a similar suggestion from Istanbul. It was reported that around 40 famous artists will attend the night to be held in Istanbul after the neighboring province of Adana.
The rehearsal for the concert on the evening of March 28, which will be held in the same hall on the same day, will be watched by students from different schools.
