Historical Eskipazar Mosque Opens for Worship in Ramadan

Ordu Metropolitan Municipality has come to the stage of completing the restoration work it continues in the Eskipazar (Bayrambey) Mosque, which is located within the boundaries of Altınordu Eskipazar Neighborhood and was built in one of the oldest settlements of Altınordu with a history of more than 600 years. The historical mosque, which was installed by making a replica of the original door, which is still on display in the Ankara Ethnography Museum, will be opened to worship in Ramadan.

HISTORICAL MOSQUE MOVED TO THE FUTURE

Eskipazar (Bayrambey) Mosque, which is the first settlement of Altınordu district and was built between 1380-1390 during the period of Hacıemiroğulları Principality, is being carried to the future with the restoration carried out with the works supported by the Ordu Governorship Investment Monitoring and Coordination Presidency (YIKOB).

AUTHENTIC RESTORED

The historical mosque, which has been restored in accordance with its original form, will be ready for worship in Ramadan after the interior lighting and carpet flooring works are completed. Teams
