President Erdoğan Appoints Rectors to 12 Universities

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan appointed rectors to 12 universities as a member of the Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University Council.

According to the appointment decisions published in the Official Gazette, Prof. Dr. Mesut Güner, Eurasia University Rector, Prof. Dr. Füsun Terzioğlu was appointed as the Rector of Aydın Adnan Menderes University Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent, Gaziantep Islamic Science and Technology University Rectorate Prof. Dr. Şehmus Demir has been appointed as the Rector of Harran University, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tahir Güllüoğlu has been appointed as the Rector of Istanbul Esenyurt University, Prof. Dr. Canan Hecer, Kütahya Health Sciences University Rector. Dr. Ahmet Tekin has been appointed as the Rector of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Prof. Dr. Handan İnci Elçi has been appointed as the Rector of Mudanya University by Prof. Dr. Hasan Tosun, Nuh Naci Yazgan University Rector. Dr. Ahmet Fazıl Özsoylu has been appointed as the Rector of Piri Reis University, Prof. Dr. Nafiz Arıca and Üsküdar University Rector. Dr. Nazife Gungor was appointed.

In accordance with Article 6742 of the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of Japan on the Establishment of a Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University in the Republic of Turkey”, which was approved by Law No. 5, Prof. Dr. Ismail Demir, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Kalin, Dr. Yener Mehmet Sonuşen, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Naci İnci, and Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar was appointed.
