Derya Yanık, Minister of Family and Social Services, announced that they have deposited 2,7 billion TL of pensions for the elderly and disabled for the month of March.
According to the statement made by the Ministry, Minister Yanık, who made statements about the elderly pension and disability pension for the month of March, noted that they made an elderly pension payment of approximately 1,5 billion TL in this direction. Minister Yanık stated that they provided support of approximately 1,2 billion TL within the scope of disability pension.
Stating that they have developed inclusive and regular social assistance programs for disabled and elderly citizens, Minister Yanık said, “We are with you in every field from education to health, from economy to social life so that disabled and elderly citizens can live independently with their full and effective participation in social life. Accordingly, we have deposited 2,7 billion TL of elderly and disabled pensions for the month of March into the accounts of the beneficiaries.”
Minister Yanık said that services for disabled and elderly citizens are carried out within the framework of human-oriented and rights-based policies.
