IZAYDAS Will Inspect Marmara From Air

The Marine Control and Inspection Aircraft, operating under IZAYDAS, one of the subsidiaries of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, will carry out an aerial inspection of the entire Marmara on behalf of the Turkish Environment Agency (TÜÇA), which is affiliated to the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. The first flight within the scope of combating marine pollution was carried out in Marmara.

KOCAELİ METROPOLITAN EXAMPLE

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which has carried out control and inspection flights in the Gulf of Izmit since 2006 and has set an example for Turkey, continues its efforts to prevent the pollution of the gulf.

SEA PLANE AT ALL MARMARA

The Marine Control and Inspection Aircraft operating under IZAYDAS, one of the subsidiaries of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, will now continue its inspection flights in the entire Marmara, on behalf of the Turkish Environment Agency, which has been authorized within the framework of combating marine pollution, especially in Kocaeli and Istanbul. Thanks to this study, inspections will be carried out for the protection and control of the environment within the borders of the sea, its monitoring and follow-up, and the detection of all kinds of pollution. The Turkish Environment Agency, affiliated to the Ministry, will also support these works 7/24 with unmanned aerial vehicles and sea boats.

FIRST FLIGHT WITH TUCA

Within the scope of the Marmara Sea Protection Action Plan, which was prepared with great care, it was decided that the inspections in all basins related to the Marmara Sea would be carried out by the Turkish Environment Agency, which was established under the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. The seaplane pilot team belonging to IZAYDAS, with the Turkish Environment Agency Audit Engineer Uğurhan Bilici, made the first flight within the scope of combating marine pollution and the work was started.
