A 120-second test was conducted yesterday for a 50-ton high-thrust rocket engine powered by liquid oxygen and kerosene in China.
According to the test result, the rocket engine in question, carried out by the Xi'an Space Dynamic Test Technology Institute of the 6th Academy of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), will be able to meet all the necessary demands. The engine is expected to participate in intense launch missions this year and be used with the Long March-7 enhanced carrier rocket.
