“Gaziantep Bath Culture Exhibition, prepared by Nurel Enver Taner Gaziantep Maturation Institute in cooperation with Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality and Gaziantep Governorship, was opened at the Turkish Bath Museum.
The exhibition, which includes 180 works reflecting Gaziantep bath culture and products prepared based on wall motifs in the Hamam Museum, will be open to visitors until February 26.
In his speech at the opening, Deputy Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Erdem Güzelbey stated that Turkish bath culture has a very important place in Gaziantep and said:
“The bath culture is traditionally present in our history as a social and cultural activity. Of course, compared to the past, the baths are losing their currency, but we are shedding light on our culture with a museum to tell our youth about these traditional structures historically in order to keep the bath culture alive. Today, we are opening the Gaziantep Bath Culture Exhibition, prepared by Nurel Enver Taner Gaziantep Maturation Institute, in this museum. I would like to thank the visitors, participants and those who contributed to the exhibition.”
After the speeches, Deputy Chairman Erdem Güzelbey and the protocol, who cut the opening ribbon, visited the exhibition area and got information about the works.
