The winners of the chess tournament organized by Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of Atatürk's arrival in Gaziantep on January 90 have been announced.
In the tournament held at Mehmet Vehbi Dinçerler Sports Hall on January 28-29 by the Metropolitan Municipality Youth Services Sports Department, the top 3 athletes were awarded cups and medals.
In this context, Poyraz Şahin ranked first, Mustafa Yiğit Duru second, and Ali Deniz Mahramanoğlu third in the general category under 8 years old.
Zeynep Naz Demir came first in the category of girls aged 10 and under, followed by Elif Beril Gürkan and Hatice Beril Kırmızıoğlan. Eren Yağız Öksüzler took the first place in the general category under 10 years old, followed by Eren Gültekin and Ege Keresteci.
Irmak Kırmızıoğlan ranked first in the category of girls aged 12 and under, Zeynya Gözcü was second and Ela Su Şahinoğlu was third. Rohat Gözcü was the first, Murat Berat Tekatlı was the second, and Arjen Deniz Baykara was the third in the general category under 12 years old.
If the final category of the tournament was open, Muhammet Nur Kara Ali came first, Bülent Taze came second, and Muhammed Ahmed Alhac came third.
