Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Water and Sewerage Administration (SASKİ) shared with the citizens the information that the project works of Darıçayırı Dam, which will be a new source for Sakarya, are accelerating in these days when the precipitation is far below the seasonal normals.
With the project to be implemented on the Daricayiri Stream in Karasu, an annual income of 750 million TL will be generated. While there are water problems in different parts of the world with each passing day, Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality both implements new resources and earns a serious income from these resources with the right steps taken on water. The project work of the giant project, which will pay for itself in 4 years, is expected to be completed in the coming months.
In the statement made by the institution, “As SATSO and SASKİ, we aimed to take the right step for our city in line with the studies we carried out jointly. We continue our meetings with SATSO, keeping the interests of our city at the forefront. With the right steps we have taken on water, we have brought new drinking water resources to our city. Thanks to his vision that sees the future and the project works he closely follows, we will build the Darıçayırı Dam in Sakarya as soon as possible with our Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem Yüce.
