Turkish Red Crescent President Dr. Kerem Kınık and the President of the Turkish Mountaineering Federation Prof. Dr. At the ceremony attended by Ersan Başar, a protocol was signed with Kızılay and Turkish Mountaineering Federation (TDF), which includes cooperation in the field of disasters and emergencies, first aid and volunteer support.

Turkish Red Crescent and Turkish Mountaineering Federation (TDF); It will cooperate in areas such as logistics, food supply and volunteer support, disaster preparedness and response training, awareness of disaster protection, blood donation, corporate promotion and first aid in times of disasters and emergencies.

Stating that the Turkish Red Crescent is a very important institution that always stands by the people of the country in difficult times, TDF President Başar thanked the Turkish Red Crescent for its cooperation and said: It is a federation with a lot of potential for athletes. It is a very important value for us to sign a protocol with a very important and distinguished institution of our country such as the Turkish Red Crescent and meet at the point of joint work. We cooperate in order to carry out a joint work from the training of the Red Crescent volunteers to the training of our mountaineers and to support the Red Crescent, which is always a dark day friend in our country. Our mountaineers in our country always have a prominent character in extraordinary situations and disasters. The works we will carry out jointly with the Turkish Red Crescent will also add to the strength of our country.”

Expressing that they are extremely happy with the cooperation, the President of the Turkish Red Crescent Dr. Kerem Kınık said, “Our Mountaineering Federation includes challenging areas that we can call both individual sports and team sports in terms of areas of interest, and where people can realize their own potential in terms of surviving, surviving and reaching the summits in those harsh conditions of nature. In fact, our disaster periods are times that we need for people who are ready for difficult struggles. Therefore, the cooperation of the two structures in this sense will have great benefits in terms of social resilience. On the other hand, this cooperation with our Mountaineering Federation in order for our society to have a first aid culture and a healthy life culture and to create disaster awareness in the society will be a cooperation that creates value in terms of solidarity, being active and new ideas, whether in times of disaster or other times.
