40 Thousand Mukhtars Provided Training with the Family School Project

With the Family School project, which was initiated by the Ministry of National Education to support families in various ways with different trainings, while millions of families received education in 81 provinces, training was given to 40 thousand headmen in different fields in the project, the scope of which was expanding day by day and lastly, the headmen were also included.

With the Family School project, which was expanded to 12 provinces with the opening ceremony attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's wife Emine Erdoğan on August 2022, 81, social skills, family communication management, use of technology, moral development, stress management, healthy nutrition, environment and first aid were developed. In 14 different areas, parents are supported in a multi-faceted way.

Trainings are held in 81 public education centers in 1000 provinces. Headmen were also included in the trainings, the content of which was constantly updated and delivered to many people from different segments. In 14 areas determined by the Family School project, lectures are given to mukhtars all over Turkey.

Minister Özer: We trained 40 thousand mukhtars

Making an assessment on the subject, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stated that the scope of the Family School project is constantly being expanded, and said, “We included our mukhtars in our Family School project in order to support the representation power of our mukhtars and strengthen their communication with their families, within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed with our Ministry of Interior. Our mukhtars showed great interest in these trainings and we trained 40 thousand mukhtars on many different subjects in a short time. We aim to reach all our mukhtars with the project.” said.

Reminding that the trainings are given in 1000 public education centers all over Turkey, Minister Özer said, “With our target of reaching 2023 million families in 2,5, we will continue to improve the scope and content of the Family School project day by day.” used his statements.
