In many countries, since 1994, every year on October 5th is celebrated as Teachers' Day with the recommendation of UNESCO. Turkey
Turks used Göktürk and Uyghur alphabets at first. Starting from the 8th century, with the adoption of Islam, the Uyghur alphabet was abandoned and the Arabic alphabet was adopted.
