'Barrier-Free' Travel to Trainees from Menderes Municipality

Menderes Municipality Culture and Social Affairs Directorate organized a trip to Atatürk Museum with Menderes Public Education Center special education trainees, teachers and parents.

Menderes Mayor V. Erkan Özkan said, “We are very happy and honored to organize such meaningful events during the Week of November 10.”

Menderes Municipality Directorate of Culture and Social Affairs took specially trained individuals living in Menderes to the Atatürk Museum in the city center as part of the 10 November Atatürk commemoration events. The trainees visiting the museum had emotional moments when they saw Atatürk's belongings.

After the museum visit, the trainees took a souvenir photo in front of the Republic Tree Statue by taking a tour of the Kordon. The last stop of the trainees was the Barrier-Free Cafe. The disabled personnel employed in the cafe had a pleasant time by preparing lunch for the trainees.

Our barrier-free work will continue

Making a statement regarding the trip, Menderes Municipality Mayor V. Erkan Özkan said, “As Menderes Municipality, we will continue to work unhindered so that our disabled people living in our district can reach a more comfortable and comfortable living standard.”
