Young entrepreneurs in Turkey, who develop projects with artificial intelligence, the most important concept of today, bring their ideas to life with the Örsçelik Balkan Artificial Intelligence Competition. Applications for the contest, which will be held for the third time this year, start on 1 December 2022.
With the increase in the influence of artificial intelligence in our lives, studies in this field continue rapidly. While many countries around the world support young entrepreneurs who develop projects with the focus of artificial intelligence, young people in Turkey implement their projects with the Örsçelik Balkan Artificial Intelligence Competition. Projects aiming to solve at least one of the 7 most important problems of humanity determined by Rotary International for humanity with artificial intelligence software, supported by the crowdfunding platform Fonbulucu.com, the digital entrepreneurship ecosystem guide Diici.com and Bilge Adam Teknoloji, carried out by Ataköy Rotary Club, were evaluated. This year's applications for the Örsçelik Balkan Artificial Intelligence Competition start on 1 December.
Stating that they created a suitable environment for young entrepreneurs to implement their artificial intelligence projects through the competition, one of the jury members, Dr. Güvenç Koçkaya said, “This year, the third competition will be held to support startups that develop projects on artificial intelligence. The projects that make it to the final round of the competition are supported both financially and morally. For example, last year, the finalists of the entrepreneurs who produced innovative and technology-based solutions using artificial intelligence received an investment promise of 200 thousand TL each by Fonbulucu GSYF. Retinow project, one of the first, reached this investment in its crowdfunding tour, and reached a total investment of 1,4 million TL at the end of the process. Those who want to participate in the Örsçelik Balkan Artificial Intelligence Contest, which was held this year with stakeholders such as Bilge Adam, Fonbulucu and Diici, will be able to apply as of December 1, 2022.”
