The World's First Surface Vehicle 'Marlin SİDA' with Electronic Warfare Capability

President of the Presidency of Defense Industry Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir announced on his social media account the first unmanned surface vehicle with electronic warfare capability, MARLIN SİDA, a new product of the Turkish defense industry.

In his post, President Demir said, “After the SİHAs, which are shown as game changers in the field, Turkey is also making its claim with its SİDA (Armed Unmanned Marine Vehicle). MARLIN SİDA became the first unmanned surface vehicle with electronic warfare capability in the world. Turkey is a pioneer, not a laggard.” used his statements.

Developed locally and nationally in cooperation with ASELSAN and SEFİNE Shipyard under the coordination of the Presidency of Defense Industries, MARLIN is planned to be used in naval warfare operations for defense and offensive purposes in the coastal or open sea.
