2022 Athletes Stroke in Keşan 500 Open Water Swimming Championship

Keşan 3 Open Water Swimming Championship, which was held on 4-2022 September 2022 in cooperation with Keşan Municipality, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Edirne Governorship, Keşan Municipality and Turkish Swimming Federation, was held with intense participation. Approximately 2 athletes competed in 7 categories in 500 days.

Speaking at the opening program of the championship, Turkish Swimming Federation Deputy Chairman Güven Duvan stated that his dream is to make Edirne the center of swimming sports; “Today we are fulfilling one of the cornerstones of my dream. Hopefully, we will proudly remember this organization that will continue for many years and will make it a tradition. I wish success to all our athletes who will swim in this championship.” said.

Keşan Mayor Mustafa Helvacıoğlu stated that Saros is hosting an event that will be on the agenda of Turkey and said, “We are holding the first Keşan 2022 Open Water Swimming Championship with the cooperation of our Ministry of Youth and Sports, Edirne Municipality, Keşan Municipality and Swimming Federation. Our preparations continue for 1 month. We are having a first. A late first in the Gulf of Saros. Great things happen when we're together. A table we missed. 19 clubs and nearly 500 athletes participate.” said.

In the tournament that lasted for 2 days and in Keşan 7 Open Water Swimming Championship held in 2022 categories, the awards were presented to the top athletes at a ceremony.

On the other hand, Grup On Air took the stage at the concert held as part of the championship.

Citizens participating in the concert had a great time with the songs performed by Grup On Air.

Keşan Municipality Sailing and Water Sports Club athlete Keşanlı Egemen Ergene, who also participated in the tournament, came first in the 25-29 age group in the Masters Category with a time of 3 in the 54.22 thousand meters.
