First Stage of Blue Lake Entrance Bridge Interchange Completed and Put into Service

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality is implementing transportation projects in the Capital that will both prioritize the safety of drivers and reduce traffic density. The first phase of the Blue Lake Entrance Köprülü Interchange on Samsun Road, which has been one of the points where traffic ordeal has been experienced for years, was completed and the road was opened to traffic in two directions. As the completion of the bridge is approaching the end, the works continue at full speed.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality is completing the construction of multi-storey and bridge crossroads one by one in the Capital, where it started transportation projects.

Continuing to bring together the transportation projects that will ease the city traffic and ensure life safety, the Metropolitan Municipality has completed the first stage of the Blue Lake Entrance Köprülü Junction, which is the first of the 3 projects started on the Samsun Road, where the traffic ordeal has been experienced for many years, and put it into service.

BRIDGE INTERCHANGE OPENED TO TRAFFIC

The first phase of the bridge junction work at the intersection of Samsun Road and Mavi Göl Caddesi was completed and the road was opened to traffic in two directions (one lane in the direction of Ankara, 2 lanes in the direction of Kırıkkale).

It is planned to prevent the agglomerations that occur at the intersection of Samsun Road and Blue Lake with the project, where the second stage of reinforced concrete production will be completed in a short time. With the completion of the second phase of the 500-meter crossroad, where both the crossings and the right and left turns on the main road will be provided more safely and in a controlled manner, uninterrupted traffic will be provided on the road with 3 rounds and 3 lanes. Thanks to the side roads that will be built with 1 lane in both directions, the traffic flow will be even more relaxed.

On the Samsun Road, work continues uninterruptedly to complete the Eşref Akıncı Underpass and Kayaş 19 Underpass in a short time.
