Metropolitan Municipality Ankara Intercity Terminal Operation (AŞTİ) continues its services that make life easier for citizens and tradesmen. BUGSAŞ A.Ş. launched the “free wi-fi” service at AŞTİ to facilitate internet access for passengers. While "free chargers" are placed in the information offices on the incoming and outgoing passenger floors, citizens will be able to access the internet using their own chargers with 50 sockets installed in AŞTİ.
The Metropolitan Municipality continues at full speed the renovation works started to make the Ankara Intercity Terminal Operation (AŞTİ) more modern and comfortable.
On the one hand, AŞTİ, which will be given a contemporary look, has a 'free wi-fi' service for the benefit of citizens and tradesmen.
FREE INTERNET AND FREE CONDITION DEVICES PROVIDE GREAT CONVENIENCE TO PASSENGER
BUGSAŞ A.Ş. started the free wi-fi service with 28 Mbps internet speed with 200 Access Points in AŞTİ to facilitate internet access for passengers.
The Metropolitan Municipality placed "Free Chargers" in the information offices on the arrivals and departures floor, allowing passengers to charge their phones in a safe environment without paying a fee. Citizens will also be able to access the internet with their own devices by using 50 sockets placed in AŞTİ.
BUGSAŞ Chairman of the Board, Mustafa Koç, gave the following information about the internet service that has just started to be implemented in AŞTİ, where artistic activities are increasing:
“There is a Metropolitan Mayor in Ankara who sees the internet as a basic human right. Mansur Yavaş municipality brought free internet to 918 villages. We also offer free internet service in 35 town squares. At AŞTİ, we now offer the internet service with a speed of 28 Mbps with 200 Access Points free of charge to our passengers and shopkeepers. At the same time, we set up free charging stations in our information units on the arrival and departure floors due to the need for charging. Our citizens can charge their phones free of charge at these points. Our citizens will also be able to use 50 sockets installed on the arriving and departing passenger floors to charge their phones and laptops with their own chargers. At AŞTİ, we also continue to bring together artistic and cultural events with our citizens.”
Citizens who benefit from free charging and internet service at AŞTİ expressed their satisfaction with the following words:
Jacob Inan: “I came to Ankara in the morning. Both of my phones were out of battery. I couldn't find a place around to charge my phone in this cold. Then I saw this service. It's really nice, thank you.”
Suat Saglam: “The app is very nice. Our phone may run out of battery on the way. It's great to have this service.”
Tugay Coskun: “According to today's conditions, it has been an application where citizens are considered. Good luck to those who made the application.”
Mert Can Halis: “I think it's a pretty good service. There can be a lot of mishaps for arriving and departing passengers. Social media is also a part of today. That's why the free recharge and internet application is very nice.”
