China to Organize Regular Flights to Space in 2045
Considering that China predicts that it will be able to organize regular vehicle flights to space by 2045, Bao stated that these flights will consist of one-hour routes between earth destinations, between ground and space orbit, and between orbits.
Bao, who is also the Director of the Science and Technology Committee of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (China Space Science and Technology Corporation), announced these views during the "China 2020 Space Conference" held in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian province in eastern China. According to Bao, China will reach a capacity of 2045 thousand tons of cargo and 1000 thousand passengers per year with 10 spacecraft by 10.
