Harbin Ice and Snow World Entered Guinness

Harbin Ice and Snow World broke a new Guinness World Record with a park area exceeding 816 thousand 682 square meters and earned the title of "the world's largest ice and snow theme park". The announcement was made at the 2024 China Ice and Snow Tourism Development Forum held in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, northeastern China.

Harbin Ice and Snow World is a large-scale amusement park first established in the city of Harbin in 1999 and featuring ice sculptures and patent rinks. Harbin has been flooded with visitors in recent years due to the increasing interest in winter sports in China. Every year, the world's largest ice and snow events are held in the city, and artists from many countries around the world make ice sculptures. This year, Harbin broke a new record by hosting 3 million people during the 3-day New Year's holiday.
