Düzce Municipality Police Department carries out its law enforcement duty throughout the city center on a 7/24 basis, ensuring that social life continues to function in a healthy manner.
Sharing the report covering the first 2024 months of 4 with the public, the directorate evaluated 153 complaints both from tradesmen and citizens via 198 Alo White Desk and submitted during law enforcement duty.
Directorate teams provided licenses to a total of 144 workplaces, including sanitary, non-sanitary establishments and public workplaces, sealed 15 workplaces operating in violation of the license, and canceled the Business Opening and Working licenses of 38 workplaces.
While sanctions were imposed on a total of 24 beggars and street vendors during the inspections carried out by the teams affiliated with the directorate, 6 enforcement actions were carried out against people begging together with the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Policies.
The teams continued their inspections of the tradesmen operating in the Aziziye District Monday and Thursday markets, Hamidiye District Tuesday market, Koçyazı market, Konuralp market, Bahçeşehir market and Fevziçakmak District markets, located in the adjacent area, without interruption. The teams, which made 4 allocation registrations in a 62-month period, imposed penalties on 8 tradesmen and canceled the market stalls of 4 tradesmen who acted against the regulations.
Teams affiliated with the directorate also continued their inspections in many commercial enterprises, especially markets and butchers, and inspected 56 bakeries and 22 canteens in this process.
