Small Industrial Sites Are Moving in Trabzon!

Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç announced that the "Relocation of Small Industrial Sites" process has started and said that these works will be carried out meticulously in the coming period.

Acting with the aim of developing Trabzon and preserving the aesthetic integrity of the city texture, Metropolitan Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç took action for the Small Industrial Sites Relocation Project, which is one of the first 3 major projects determined, as soon as he took over. In this context, Mayor Genç met with Secretary General Gürkan Üçl, Deputy Secretary General Erdoğan Beder, Advisor to the President Mustafa Yaylalı, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SS All Industries Small Industrial Site Building Cooperative Gökçen Alemdaroğlu, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Mustafa Pehlivan, members Ömer Çavuş and Mehmet Kör. carried out.

WE START THE TRANSFORMATION PROCESS

Stating that important steps have been taken on the future of small industrial sites, Mayor Genç said, “We had an important meeting on the relocation of small industrial sites, which is one of the 3 projects we have focused on meticulously since the moment we took office. There are approximately 65 independent businesses in 5 separate sites that will be moved to an area of ​​1700 hectares. This area can be easily accessed from both Maçka and Kanuni Boulevard. We are starting an important transformation process. We discussed the issue narrowly with representatives of our small industrial sites. We had previously held a meeting with the participation of our Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Mr. Mehmet Özhaseki, and representatives of all relevant institutions. "Hopefully, by acting together, we will achieve our goal and with this work, we will provide a more comfortable working environment for our tradesmen and employees who serve under unsanitary conditions," he said.

TRABZON WILL GAIN A BRAND NEW IDENTITY

Stating that they will give the east of the city a brand new identity with the construction of a trade and tourism-oriented residential area, Mayor Genç said, “We will make our city one of the brand cities of the future with a design worthy of Trabzon. The positive attitude of our tradesmen in small industries in this work further motivates us to achieve our goal. "In the next period, we will complete the consultations with TOKİ, ministries and relevant institutions and hold a more comprehensive meeting with all our tradesmen," he said.
