In the last 20 years, on our highways; We increased the length of the divided road to over 28 kilometers. In 816, we will increase this figure to 2023 thousand kilometers in total. Well; On highways, we say 'no stop, keep going'. Our divided road target is 30 thousand kilometers. We will bring half of our total road network to the divided road standard. At the same time, we are rapidly increasing the road quality on our highways. On highways, we cross steep mountains with tunnels, and deep valleys with viaducts and bridges. During the period of our governments, the length of the tunnel; We took it from 38 kilometers and increased it to 50 kilometers. In the 663th anniversary of our Republic, we increase our tunnel length to 100 kilometers. We also increased the total length of the bridge and viaduct to 720 kilometers. Our target for 735; to carry the total length over 2023 kilometers”.

ROAD ROUTE WILL BE SHORTENED 2 KILOMETER

“Within the scope of our Narince Gerger project, there is a single 33-kilometer road and a 3,5-kilometer Gerger Ring Road. We will start working feverishly to put our Narince-Gerger Road, the foundation of which we laid today, at your service as soon as possible. With the completion of the project, our road route will be shortened by 2 kilometers. Travel time will be reduced from 46 minutes to 25 minutes. Like this; We will raise the physical and geometric standards of the road. We will save a total of 18,2 million liras annually, 3 million liras from time and 21 million liras from fuel. With the new road we will build, access to Mount Nemrut, located on the Narince-Gerger Road route, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and one of the important tourism centers not only in Turkey but also in the world, will be facilitated. Travels of domestic and foreign tourists will become more comfortable. This will invigorate tourism, reinvigorate trade, and revitalize our city. Each kilometer of road we build also contributes to the development of production, employment, trade, education, culture and tourism of the region where it is built. Our new roads add vitality to the places where they are built and go, like a 'stream'.”
