Minister Selçuk stated that their aim was to introduce the sign language to children of education age and to raise awareness during the Disabled Week.
Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, who made an assessment on the subject; “We prepared videos special for primary, secondary and high school students. The videos include brief information about Turkish Sign Language, teaching the words used in basic daily conversations as sign language, and then using the learned words as a dialogue. ” he spoke. Selçuk also noted in the videos that there are Turkish sign language interpreters of the Ministry with hearing-impaired students and teachers.

By introducing sign language by translators in videos, basic sözcükler is taught students in sign language. On the other hand, the Ministry carries out a project to make the courses accessible within the scope of EBA TV by translating the courses published in sign language.
