Altepe, in his speech at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Kestel Bridge Interchange, said that the intersection to be built at one of the most important points of Bursa will solve an important problem within the scope of the rail system works.

Stating that the intersection was built with environmental and infrastructure investments and an additional investment of 20 million, Altepe said, “It will be a beautiful crossroad to the east of the city, worthy of Bursa. Bursa is developing. There is a great development in the east of our city, and while this development continues in the whole city, Bursa will really change its shell in the coming months and years with the works in the east of the city. "With the other investments and projects we will make here, the east of the city will be as attractive as its west."

Stating that they are working towards making Bursa an “accessible” city, Altepe said:

“With Kestel and Gürsu, the region is in a great change. With these investments, this change will continue rapidly. The construction of the metro line extending to the east is one of the most important works in making our daily life easier on the way to becoming an accessible city. This period, we said 'Bursa will be knitted with iron nets'. We continued our work in this direction. After the university stage we opened last year, we completed the last line of Mudanya, Emek, within the same tender and we started the projects of the Kestel and Gürsu line, which were not included in the plan. We have also completed these projects. This 8-kilometer-long 7-stop line went out to tender and a 15-year TL loan was used. Only Bursa Metropolitan used this. No more credit was given. We are realizing the construction of this line with this 15-year loan. "

Stating that the construction of the intersection, which can be used by pedestrians, has started between the 6th station and the 7th station of the Bursaray Kestel line, Altepe said, “This intersection will consist of a 240-meter descending ramp, a 100-meter tunnel junction, and a 191-meter exit ramp. There are 8 and a half meters of rail system line in the middle, and about 10 meters of road lines on the right and left. The tunnel section consists of a single span of 29 meters and 77 pre-tensioned prefabricated beams.

Altepe, emphasizing that they will continue to invest in the region, noted that they have made investments of at least 30 million lira in all districts with infrastructure investments.
