Today, Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu visited the 7th Regional Directorate of Highways in Samsun, where he went to examine transportation investments on site, and received a briefing about the 'Western Ring Road and Connection Roads of the City Hospital'. In his statement to the press afterwards, Uraloğlu stated that they produced new projects and huge investments were implemented depending on Samsun's growth rate and increasing traffic density.

APPROXIMATELY 73 BILLION 391 MILLION LIRA WAS INVESTED IN SAMSUN FOR TRANSPORTATION AND COMMUNICATION INFRASTRUCTURE

Uraloğlu stated that approximately 2002 billion 73 million liras have been invested in Samsun's transportation and communication infrastructure since 391.

Referring to the highway investments made in Samsun, Uraloğlu said, “We increased the length of the divided road from 120 kilometers to 313 kilometers, and the length of the bituminous hot mixture coated road from 119 kilometers to 375 kilometers. There were 3 bridges with a length of 752 thousand 55 meters, we increased this to 17 bridges with a length of 200 thousand 123 meters. We plan to build 421 more bridges with a length of 4 meters by the end of this year. Samsun had a single tunnel with a length of 553 meters, we added 2 more tunnels with a length of 325 thousand 2 meters. he said.

While the construction of Uraloğlu, City Hospital Connection Roads and Yeşilkent Junction is ongoing; He also stated that the work on 10 separate highway projects, such as Samsun-Bafra and Samsun Ring Road BSK Repair, Havza-Vezirköprü Road, Çarşamba-Ayvacık Road, Ladik-Taşova Road, continues simultaneously.

Uraloğlu stated that the construction of the 1.103-bed Samsun City Hospital, which is needed in the healthcare field of the Black Sea Region, especially Samsun, and the construction of the connection roads are being carried out simultaneously.

Uraloğlu said, “We designed our road to connect to Samsun Ring Road from two points. We are building our 5,3 kilometer long road as a 2 x 3-lane divided road with bituminous hot mixture standard. Within the project; There is also 1 different-level intersection and a 204-meter-long bridge within the intersection.
