Although the number of vehicles increased by 2003 percent and vehicle mobility by 2020 percent between 170 and 150, we reduced the loss of life by 81 percent thanks to our infrastructure development efforts. Again, thanks to our divided roads, we saved 22 billion TL per year. We have produced approximately 4,5 million tons less CO2 emissions. As a workforce, we saved approximately 315 million hours, in other words 12 billion 965 million TL. In addition to the divided roads, we also attach great importance to the high performance, longevity and safety of all roads in our country. Between 2003 and 2020, we did an average of 14 thousand 20 kilometers of asphalt paving work per year. We have increased the length of the BSK Coated road to 29 thousand kilometers. “First of all, from all our citizens, in times of heavy snow and blizzard; If it is not an essential situation, I would like to ask them not to insist on travel for the safety of both themselves and the road crews. I recommend our drivers who have to travel in these snowy and cold weathers to get information about the travel route before they set off. They should never enter the roads that were closed during the snow-fighting works. Let them prepare their vehicles for winter conditions. Let them have winter tires fitted, if any, and have snow chains in their vehicles.”

WE INTRODUCED OUR COUNTRY WITH THE FIRST

We introduced our country to firsts in the field of communication. As you know, we launched our Türksat 5A communication satellite into orbit at the beginning of this year and put it into service in June. Last week, we sent our Türksat 5B communication satellite to Space Vatan. We are continuing the integration and testing studies of Türksat 6A with completely national resources at TAI. On the 100th anniversary of our Republic, we will take our place among the few countries in the world that can build their own satellites. Our main source of motivation is our sine qua non for national economic independence; is the added value we provide to holistic development. To this end: 'We will grow together, we will win together, we will rise together'. In the next period, as the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, we will continue to serve our people and set an example to the world by realizing many more big projects in line with the 2023, 2053 and 2071 targets.”
