Company officials who explained the project to the people of Sakarya at a meeting held in Akm on February 20, 2013, completed the EIA report of the project and submitted it to the Ministry. The Ministry, on the other hand, completed its review and evaluation on the prepared EIA report.
Speaking at the meeting held at AKM, Environmental Engineer Özgür Özkan of MGS company, who prepared the EIA Report of the project, stated that there will be only 2 stations in the High Speed ​​Train project, which will reduce the distance between Ankara and Istanbul to one and a half hours, and one of them will be in Sakarya Center in the north of Karakamış.
The "Sincan-Çayırhan-Istanbul Railway Project" Ankara-Kocaeli part Ankara province Sincan, Ayaş, Beypazarı, Nallıhan districts, Bolu will pass through Mudurnu district, Sakarya province Akyazı, Erenler, Adapazarı and Serdivan districts and Kocaeli province Izmit district.
