PİKARE's AWEG system, which produces clean water and energy from atmospheric water, was chosen as the "Best Climate Technology Initiative of the Year" at EGYPES24, the largest energy fair in Africa and the Middle East.
At the EGYPES24 energy fair held in Cairo, PiKARE's Atmospheric Water and Energy Production System (AWEG) achieved great success. The AWEG system is known as the Atmospheric Water and Energy Production System and was selected as the "Best Climate Technology Initiative of the Year" among 1800 applications in the world.
PRODUCES ENERGY WITH 12 MW CAPACITY
This success story started with the establishment of PiKARE SKYSOURCE in 2021. However, the work behind AWEG actually dates back 10 years. In the process, the PiKARE team developed AWEG, the only air-to-water system in the world capable of producing water on an industrial scale. AWEG not only produces water, but also produces its own energy and ensures sustainability by turning its water footprint into a positive one. Additionally, it stands out as one of the rare water and energy technologies in the world that can produce energy with a capacity of 12MW.
This innovative technology stands out as a perfect combination of sustainability and innovation. We can easily state that AWEG, which is the only global climate technology with features such as zero waste, positive water footprint and negative carbon emissions, not only offers solutions to water and energy problems but also makes a significant contribution to the global climate crisis.
PRODUCTION WILL START IN TURKEY
Speaking at the award ceremony, PiKARE Vice President Hüseyin Çiloğlu stated that this success makes them proud as PiKARE, and emphasized the importance of AWEG becoming known worldwide. He also stated that AWEG was a great success for Turkey and showed the power of Turkish entrepreneurship. He emphasized that efforts are continuing to start producing AWEG in Turkey.
