IMM reorganized the traffic flow in the region within the scope of Pendik Center - Kaynarca - Fevzi Çakmak Metro, which it continues to construct.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) continues its excavation and station works at 2020 different points in Pendik Center - Kaynarca - Fevzi Çakmak Metro, which was restarted in February 8.

Within the scope of the project, the construction of Pendik Central Station will begin on April 12th. The temporary traffic circulation regulation, which will be applied during the construction work, has been implemented gradually. Traffic flow in the region is provided through alternative routes.

With the implementation of the last stage of the temporary traffic circulation project;

  • Abdülhalik Renda Street, which operates as 2 lanes departure, 2 lanes arrival, will operate as 1 lane departure and 1 lane arrival.
  • The underpass that connects Abdülhalik Renda Avenue to Line-Length and Lokman Hekim Streets will be closed to vehicle traffic.
  • The road connecting Abdülhalik Renda Avenue to İbni Sina Street will be closed to vehicle traffic. The road in question can be used by pedestrians.
  • IETT stops in the construction area will be placed on Abdülhalik Renda Street to the west of Marmaray Station.

The new traffic arrangement will continue until the Pendik Central Station is completed. The Pendik Center - Kaynarca Metro with 4,1 km and 2 stations, which is the continuation of the Tavşantepe - Sabiha Gökçen Airport Line, will be put into service in April 2023.
