Nilüfer Municipality Distributed Market Aprons to Producers

Nilüfer Municipality, which provides all kinds of support to local producers both at the production and sales stages, is also working to create a corporate structure in producer markets where producers and consumers meet without intermediaries. In this context; Aprons were distributed to approximately 250 producers in order to provide visual integrity at the producer markets held in Görükle on Tuesday, Konak on Wednesday, Çamlıca on Saturday, and Karaman on Sunday.

Nilüfer Deputy Mayor Remzi Çınar also participated in the workshop where Climate Change and Zero Waste Directorate employees were present. The producers, who received their aprons from Çınar and its employees, thanked them for the service provided.
Stating that they are trying to develop the producer markets established on 4 different days and places throughout Nilüfer, Nilüfer Deputy Mayor Remzi Çınar said, “Approximately 250 of our producers sell the products they produce to the citizens in these markets. Nilüfer Municipality does not receive any rental income, electricity or water money from producers in producer markets. In this sense, it supports producers. It also ensures that our citizens meet healthy products. Our event today was held to further institutionalize this work. We distributed market aprons to our producers. Our municipality made this apron in order to ensure visual integrity and to increase the quality of the service provided to the citizens to some extent. Today we distributed it to all marketers. "We saw the satisfaction of both citizens and marketers," he said.

Explaining that the producers' markets are appreciated by the people of Nilüfer, Çınar said that they want to increase the number of markets established in the coming period. Emphasizing that they are working on the issue of healthy food, Çınar added that they aim to further increase citizen awareness in the process from production to consumption.
