Mazda Prepares to Unveil 10 New Models!

Mazda, one of the world's leading automobile brands, is preparing to witness many important innovations in the new period. Mazda Sales, Marketing and After-Sales Director Tamer Atsan, who evaluated 2021 in a general framework and shared information about the brand's new period strategies, said, "While the automobile production, which was 90-100 million worldwide due to the chip crisis and pandemic conditions, decreased to 2020 million in 77, A further 2021% decrease is expected. In 10, we foresee that the automotive industry will revive and regain its good old days, as the chip crisis disappears from our agenda in the middle of the year and the effects of the pandemic decrease in spring.” He said that in the near future, Mazda will meet the car enthusiasts with 2022 new models.

Tamer Atsan, Sales, Marketing and After-Sales Director of Mazda, which will host many surprise new models with its investments in technology and innovation, shared his evaluations of 2021, which witnessed many important developments in the automotive industry, and remarkable information about the brand's new period strategies. Atsan said, “Last year will be remembered as one of the unforgettable years for our industry. The fact that the use of individual automobiles gained importance with the pandemic and the demand for electronic products increased in the face of rapid acceleration, the inability of the chips, whose raw material is silicon and water, to meet the demand, the interruption of production due to the epidemic, seriously disrupted the automobile production in the entire sector. As a result, under normal conditions, when the world total is considered, the automobile production of 90-100 million units falls to 2020 million in 77, while a very serious decrease of 2021 percent is expected in 10. If the supply problems had not been reflected in the Turkish automobile market, it would have been possible to close the year 737 by 350-2021 percent higher than the 10 sales figure of 12 thousand 2021 units. said. Atsan also said, "Contrary to this picture in 2021, we predict that in 2022, the chip crisis will be off our agenda in the middle of the year and the effects of the pandemic will diminish in the spring, and the automotive industry will revive and return to its good old days." made the statement.

Mazda SKYACTIV is the best example of how efficiency can still be obtained from internal combustion engines

Referring to Mazda's strategies in the electrification process, Atsan stated that there is still efficiency to be obtained from internal combustion conventional engines, and said, “Mazda proved the best example of this with SKYACTIV technology and shared this technology with some brands. Mazda, while increasing the efficiency of internal combustion engines, is also putting its electric cars into operation step by step and taking its place in the future. At the point reached today, there is a way to be taken together with the technologies to be developed in the field of electric cars, because the maximum distance reached with a battery charge varies between 200-500 km on average in cars, moreover, the charging time of the battery is a minimum of 45 minutes and it is in a size that hinders the cruising flow of the drivers. In addition, we hope that the energy used by electric cars will be reduced to more reasonable levels, the taxes to be collected, and thus the transition to electric cars will be supported by the government in our country, as in Europe. As a result, we expect this transformation to accelerate in 10 years.” said.

We kept our dealers alive with four models, if the e-call is resolved, 10 new models are on the way

Noting that Mazda has managed to keep its dealers alive with its four models, Atsan said that they have made significant progress with their European and Japanese colleagues on the e-call (Emergency Call System), which has been on the brand's agenda for two years. “The problem here is that the regulations in Turkey require that the SIM card in this system belongs to one of the Turkish operators. While all Mazda's cars can reach emergency calls via roaming with a single SIM in all European countries, it takes time to create a separate emergency call module for Turkey with a Turkish SIM card and to perform all the tests.” Tamer Atsan, Mazda Sales, Marketing and After-Sales Director, said, “Mazda is preparing to launch 10 new cars in the coming period with its unique lines and special technology it has developed. Our goal, too, is primarily to solve the e-call issue and to bring at least four models currently available in Europe, which we have not been able to import for two years due to e-call, in the showrooms of our dealers, and to bring together the tax-appropriate ones among all the new models to be launched. ” he said.
