Kayseri OSB President: Record Export Despite 6 Billion Dollar Earthquake Loss

Kayseri OSB President Mustafa Yalçın said, “Despite the wars and worldwide economic negativities, especially the February 6 earthquakes, which are estimated to have caused an export loss of 6 billion dollars, our exports increased in 2023 and reached 255 billion 809 million dollars, breaking the historical record of the Republic. The result achieved is the success of all our industrialists who invest, produce and export.” said.

Mustafa Yalçın said that the 2023 export figure and the 2024 target announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan once again reveal how correct the decision is for Turkey's export-based growth policy.

President Yalçın said, “Turkey's exports broke a historical record by exceeding 2023 billion dollars in 255. Industrialists and exporters who continue their production and open up to new markets despite all the negativities have a large share in this success. It is of great importance that organized industrial zones continue to work with great effort in Turkey's place among the top 10 exporting countries in the world. "We have no doubt that all our industrialists who invest and produce in Kayseri OIZ will make great contributions to achieving this goal," he said.
