Zonguldak Provincial Gendarmerie Command, Gendarmerie Public Order Commando Company Command (JAK) Search and Rescue Team; The "Search and Rescue in Natural Disasters" course was given by the Gendarmerie Commando Special Public Order Command (DAFAK).
Between 13-17 November 2023, the Search and Rescue Team in question received training on "Search and Rescue for Natural Disasters and Mining Accidents" with the Kozlu Institution of the Turkish Hard Coal Corporation (TTK). Within the scope of the training activity, trainings were given on quarry introduction by going 560 meters below the quarry, Fortification Introduction, Belling Fortification, Pig Roof, Excavation Methods, Excavation with Mortopikor, Pit Gases, Rescue Device Introduction, Equipping a Rescue Device, Disassembling and Assembling the Rescue Device and First Aid. The drill was held in January.
In educational activities; First of all, it was aimed to reach the citizens more quickly in case of natural disasters and mine collapses that may occur in the region, to minimize the loss of life and to support the citizens.
