The new buses of the ESHOT Headquarters, which have taken action, are produced at the Ankara premises of the company that won the tender. 20 buses, which will be completed in mid-February, will enter the service of Izmir residents. ESHOT General Directorate officials, who went to the facilities where new buses were produced, examined and stated that a new period will start in İzmir with electric buses that will provide 100% environmentally friendly, comfortable and economical transportation.

The tender of ESHOT General Directorate for the purchase of "full electric bus" in line with the strategy of implementing "environmentally friendly transport technologies", TCV Otomotiv Makine San. ve Tic. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality ESHOT General Directorate plans to increase the number of electric buses in its fleet as technologies that can be charged faster and allow longer distances to develop. For this purpose, it is aimed to provide 8.8 more electric buses to the city in 3 years.

It will provide its energy from the sun
The cost of electrical energy to be used for charging these environmentally friendly and economical vehicles will be covered by the solar power plant established in Buca Gediz Heavy Maintenance Facilities of the General Directorate of ESHOT. ESHOT will buy the electricity to be used for the charging of the buses in the last stops of the workshops and garages with TEDAŞ. The energy generated from the solar power plant will be transferred to the TEDAŞ network.
